Working
Have already had some feedback from people who have bought Green & Blue / Groen & Blou, saying that the book has been a turning point in their lives  regarding how they deal with their kids and their divorce. Such good news. Please spread the word to all you think might benefit from it.

The Green & Blue / Groen & Blou book launch was great fun – held at SAVF’s Armstrong Berning Centre - The president of SAVF flew in especially for the event..she even wore a stylish green scarf. We painted the lounge green, and stencilled LIEFDE, HOOP and  VREDE in blue on the walls. My mom came up from Dbn for the launch…and crazy chameleon outdid themselves with a Mad Hatter’s tea party theme…a very special occasion.

Groen & Blou is available at PNA’s, CUM, and Exclusive Books.

Did u see the Vroukeur article? (By the way , I certainly do not look like that at 6am whilst trying to get the boys ready for school!!...Its amazing what good lighting and make up can do for a girls self esteem!) Anyway hope u entered the competition for Groen & Blou books. 

Nuturing
This month I, and 4 other celebs,  get a Makeover by Eric Way (top international Fashion Designer)  and his Dream Team. Very exciting! Placecol and DNB are hosting. The event is at the Royal Elephant Hotel and Conference Centre. Ask your nearest Placecol, DNB or World of Beauty for info on tickets.

Am also very proud of the Placecol promotion. The New Opti Phi Placecol facial peels are awesome.  Brilliant products that I have huge faith in. Don’t forget to take the time to beat the harsh winter blues by nurturing yourself a bit….

Also went to Opti Phi’s very glam charity event - funds were raised for a worthy cause – Cochlia implants. Who’s- Who –in- the- Zoo were all there, and some of the soccer WAGS walked away with some very yummy goody bags!

Giving

There is a list of needs and requirements, from money to tools to skills….there are so many ways you can help – buying ‘Groen & Blou’, is of course one way you can participate- the money I get from the book goes straight to the Foundation.

Listening
Am totally captivated by the latest Katie Melua. Quaint and enchanting. Her voice is like an instrument…and her lyrics are poetry. I especially like her song which says, ‘…broken people get recycled…’ The message of hope and healing that I so fully support.

Weeping
Am so sad the world cup is over. I must admit I DID shed a tear during the closing ceremony. I had no idea it would get under my skin as much as it did. I dove into the experience FULLY. From learning the diski dance, to bracing 0 degrees in Jozi for a Brazil match, to angry facebook entries about Suarez and Uruguay, to going to the Fan Park for Germany vs Spain with my sister. Am incredibly proud of our country and uber happy with my hometown Durban, for its vibey promenade and gobsmackingly good looking Moses Mahbida stadium. But endings are inevitable and so its back to our normal lives….lets hope that magical South Africa left some of its mojo in the rest of the world.
